Denn es kann sein, man geht, und plötzlich liegt da ein Gedicht, keiner weiß, wer es dort hingelegt hat, und die Natur ist so beschäftigt (höre die Frösche). Davon handelt Sprossung. Das Gedicht hat uns Ernst Jandl vermacht.
Le Dedale, das Labyrinth, kombiniert äußerste Simplizität mit einer klaren Struktur. Man darf die Lücken selbst schließen oder raten, was als nächstes kommt: eine reine Wiederholung, eine Variation oder ein neues „Modul“? Hoffentlich ist es wirklich ein Irrgarten, aber mit einer Aussicht, nicht aussichtslos.
Le Dedale, the labyrinth, combines utmost simplicity with a clear structure. You may bridge the gaps yourself or guess what´ll come next, a mere repetition, a variation or a new module. Hopefully it´s a real maze but nevertheless with a view, not forlorn.

Der Begeher guckt sich Leute und Sachen nur an, er begegnet nicht, das ist dann der Begegner, der kommt nächstes Mal dran. Der improvisa-torische Teil besteht ausschließlich aus Akkorden.
The Begeher, someone who walks on, only looks at people and things, he doesn´t meet or face or encounter, that would be the Begegner, that´s for the next time.
The improvisational part exclusively consists of chords.
Lettering Stones ist eine ältere Komposition und bezieht sich auf den buddhistischen, tibetischen Brauch, Steine zu beschriften mit Sentenzen, Weisheiten und Wünschen. Geduld ist gefragt beim Übertragen, denn auch Steine besitzen eine Aura.
Lettering Stones refers to the Tibetan-Buddhist custom of lettering stones with aphorisms, sage sayings and wishes. Respect and patience are asked during the transfer, for even stones own an aura.
Obwohl das Ereignis nun schon ein dreiviertel Jahr zurückliegt, hier einige Worte zur knapp vierstündigen Ausstellungs-Musik namens Stimmgang.
Ich war von der Künstlerin Maren Ruben (maren-ruben.com) um eine Klanginstallation für die Regionale 13 - eine sogenannte trinationale, d.h. in Deutschland, Frankreich und der Schweiz angesiedelte Ausstel-lungsserie in vielen verschiedenen Museen für die Region Oberrhein - gebeten worden.
Eventhough the event goes back already three quarters of a year, here some words about the almost four hours long exhibition music Stimmgang.
I was asked to do a sound installation for the Regionale 13 which is a series of exhibitions in this area including the countries Germany, France and Switzerland.
Stimmgang initiert, mit Hilfe von unablässig fallenden Wassertropfen, das Gehen mit Sprache, die aus der Musik kommt und wieder in sie zurückgeht, auf und über Wasser, und, mit Hilfe des schon erwähnten Gongyo - Voice Walk (Post 1), eine epische Wanderung in kleinen Schritten, eine kleine Schule der Aufmerksamkeit.
*Der Zeichenschläger sorgt dann für eine retrospektive Orientierung im Garten der Tropfen.
Stimmgang initiates, with the help of constantly falling drops the walk with language which comes out of music and goes back into it, on and over water, and, with the help of the already mentioned Gongyo - Voice Walk (post 1), an epic peregrination within little steps, a tiny school of attentiveness.
*The Zeichenschläger provides a retrospective orientation in the garden of drops.
